The New York Forward Re-Opening Advisory Board tasked with guiding the re-opening and rebuilding strategy for New York State as we recover from the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) has appointed BTEA President and NYSAE Board member, Lou Coletti, to its Advisory Board. The Advisory Board is chaired by Steve Cohen and Bill Mulrow, both of whom previously served as Secretary to Governor Andrew Cuomo.

“Thank you for serving as a member of the New York Forward Re-Opening Advisory Board,” Governor Andrew Cuomo said. “We need your support as New York is "un-paused" and business and gathering restrictions are lifted in different areas and for different activities. Specifically, industries that are considered more essential to the public and present less of a risk of viral spread – including construction and manufacturing – will be prioritized for re-opening, followed by industries that may be less essential or present a greater risk of spread.”
