The National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners (NAPNAP) Executive Board is pleased to announce that Cate Brennan, MBA, CAE, a member of the NYSAE Board of Directors, has been named chief executive officer. In her role as the executive director during the last six years, she worked closely with the Executive Board and staff to advance the associations’ mission and implement strategic priorities in NAPNAP's fifth decade of caring for and about children.

“Cate’s commitment and dedication to NAPNAP has been a wonderful asset to the association. We look forward to her ongoing leadership as NAPNAP continues to grow and serve our members, children and families,” said NAPNAP President, Raji Koppolu, RN, MS, CPNP, MSL.

“I am truly honored to serve as NAPNAP’s CEO and advance the global understanding and appreciation of pediatric-focused nurse practitioners,” said Cate. “My top goal is to make patients, families and others aware that pediatric-focused NPs deliver high-quality, cost-effective health care, whether they practice in acute, specialty or primary care. Our dedicated leaders have a respected, national voice in patient advocacy, clinical practice, academic education, management and leadership, and social justice.”
