NYSAE Aligns with Columbia University School of Professional Studies, Master of Science in Nonprofit Management

Print this Article | Send to Colleague

In an effort to improve engagement with young professionals and students, NYSAE has cultivated a new relationship with Columbia University SPS. NYSAE has invited students to join for relevant programming. In addition, Columbia will be a resource for NYSAE member organizations seeking talent for internships, PT or FT positions.

Columbia is looking to NYSAE member organizations for potential Capstone Project clients as well. This project offers a group of students the opportunity to undertake complex, real-world client-based projects for nonprofit organizations supervised by a faculty member for the length of a semester. The capstone project allows students to experience the process of organizational assimilation and integration as they tackle a discrete management project of long or short-term benefit to the organization.

If your organization is looking for an intern or you have an open position contact Onika Richards, MBA, GCDF and Onika will send out an email blast to the appropriate student population. If your organization is looking for more info in becoming a Capstone client, please contact Frances J. Laviscount.
