Dear NYSAE Members and Potential Members:

Time is so precious to all of us as we balance work and life commitments that we have to be judicious about how we spend it.  So when I was asked to join NYSAE many years ago I asked myself …what’s in it for me?

Almost a decade later I can answer that…… more than I ever expected.

Engaging with a community of association professionals all based in the New York region has helped me to develop meaningful professional relationships, provided a forum to ask questions and receive real-time feedback and to be a mentor as well.

Being active in NYSAE provides unparalleled opportunities to connect with other industry leaders and like-minded professionals through education, committee work, social and networking events where you can share common experiences. You can add your voice to a network dedicated to advancing the association world.  You will have opportunities to develop leadership skills. Most importantly, you will garner a competitive advantage interacting with other informed members, many of whom have the same challenges that you do.

If you are already a member, become more engaged.  If you are not yet part of our association community, consider joining today.  You will reap many benefits and make lifelong friendships along the way.

Looking back I guarantee you too will have gained more than you ever expected.
