A majority of luxury pre-owned sales in the U.S. are made online, and investors have poured more than half a billion dollars into the online fashion consignment industry since 2009. Online resale of luxury items is not new — what’s new is the broader reach into the mainstream, led by brands such as thredUP LUXE, which offers a fresh approach to luxury resale.

After noticing that “people weren’t stretching correctly and there was a need to help them,” Kika Stretch Studios owner and founder Hakika DuBose used her knowledge of anatomy to create an assisted therapeutic approach to stretching. The basic 32-posture sequence is based “on areas of physical tension common to everyone.”
