Last week, NRMCA partnered with the Wyoming Technology Transfer Center and the Colorado/Wyoming Chapter of the American Concrete Pavement Association to bring Best Practices for Constructing and Maintaining Durable Concrete to Lander and Casper, Wyoming. Sarah Dalton, PE, pavement engineer for the chapter and NRMCA Vice President, Local Paving, Don Clem (shown here, standing beside screen), presented the latest innovations in concrete design and construction of concrete pavements, including an overview of proper construction techniques for concrete flatwork, rehabilitation techniques, concrete overlays, NRMCA's Design Assistance Program and ACPA CO/WY resources.

The programs were attended by about 20 professionals from WYDOT, local agencies, several engineering firms, a cement company and general contractor.
