NYSAFC Past President Joseph M. Fahd Jr. (Cohoes Fire Department) was installed as president of the Eastern Division of the International Association of Fire Chiefs on May 10 during the EDIAFC 2019 Annual Conference in Hightstown, NJ. Congratulations to the EDIAFC officers!
 
Regretfully, NYSAFC was forced to cancel three Commanding from the Front Seat programs scheduled for earlier this year due to low registration. These free classes have been rescheduled at new sites in Cayuga (June 22-23), Erie (July 12-13), and Suffolk (July 27-28) Counties.
