NE/SAE Taskforce Presents DEI Roadmap, Members Vote to Include Diversity, Equity an Inclusion Statement in Bylaws

The Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Task Force has been dedicated to ensuring that the principles of diversity, equity, inclusion and access are advocated for and upheld at all levels of NE/SAE. To guide NE/SAE towards this goal, the task force developed a road map of actions that when taken, touch all aspects of NE/SAE. The taskforce provided an update of its work thus far at NE/SAE’s business meeting on June 11, 2021. The membership voted to amend NE/SAE’s bylaws to include a statement on the organization’s commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion. NE/SAE looks forward to continuing this important work and encourages any members that would like to assist with this effort to join the taskforce.
