Providence, RI – Dale Venturini, President and CEO of The RI Hospitality Association, was recently honored at The National Organization of Italian American Women’s An Epiphany Celebration Honoring Three Wise Women event at the Providence Art Club. Dale, alongside Renee Evangelista, Esq. of Howland, Evangelista, Kohlenberg, Burnett, LLP and Rita Esposito Watson, a journalist and educator, spoke of their Italian heritage and how it has shaped them into the woman they are today.

The National Organization of American Women (NOIAW) is the only national organization for women of Italian ancestry. Through cultural programs, special events, networking opportunities, mentoring, scholarship and cultural exchange initiatives, NOIAW seeks to promote and support the achievements of women of Italian ancestry in the workplace and the community.

Each of this year’s honorees was chosen for their achievements in their individual fields and was nominated by a NOIAW member.

"It was an honor to be recognized by this wonderful group," said Dale J. Venturini, President and CEO of RIHA. "The National Organization of Italian American Women does great things for women of Italian ancestry, and I look forward to collaborating with them on future projects."

Additionally, Heather Singleton, Chief Operating Officer of the RI Hospitality Association (RIHA) and RI Hospitality Education Foundation, was recently presented with the 2016 Johnson & Wales University Lifetime Achievement Distinguished Alumni Award, which highlights JWU alumni who have made significant achievements in the hospitality industry.
