Congratulations to Our 2016 Award Winners

At the 2016 Annual Meeting last month, NE/SAE recognized the recipients of the Super Star Award and the Rising Star Award.
The Super Star Award recognizes an individual who has gone above and beyond in their volunteer service to NE/SAE. This year’s winner was David Fox, NE/SAE’s photographer. David has given much of his time to NE/SAE by attending many of our events and capturing professional photos of our members and volunteers in action. His work has helped NE/SAE maintain a vibrant website and social media presence, and we appreciate everything David has done for NE/SAE and our members.
The Rising Star Award recognizes an exceptional up-and-coming association professional. This year’s winner was Luiza Pellerin from PRRI, and the development officer for the American Association for Thoracic Surgery Graham Foundation. Luiza was nominated by her colleagues at PRRI for the excellent work she has done in a short period of time, for embracing the challenge of a unique role, and for quickly becoming a valued member of "team PRRI."
