The decision by many organizations and institutions to close their physical offices as part of their response plan to the COVID-19 virus has led to a large increase in the number of Americans teleworking – many for the first time.  Making the transition from working onsite to working remotely can be difficult, especially when there may not have been a lot of lead-time to prepare yourself and your team for that change.
Association News
NAEP is pleased to announce the results of the elections for the 2019 Board of Directors. Thank you to the representatives from our member schools who voted in the elections for NAEP leadership positions.

Our members' health and safety remain NAEP's prime focus as we continue to closely monitor the impact of the COVID-19 virus on our members and their institutions. NAEP remains committed to connecting you with the most current, reliable information about the COVID-19 virus and its impact on the Higher Education community.

University Medical Centers and Hospitals are in dire need of personal protective equipment (PPE) and other limited medical supplies. This list includes, but is not limited to, ventilators, masks, sanitizing cleaning products, gloves, and hand hygiene supplies. If you know of any programs on campus which traditionally order these products for students, please consider donating them to other areas of your university or other institutions while students are learning remotely.

If you have personal protective equipment or other hygiene and safety items and don't know where to send them, please contact NAEP, and we will assist you with connecting you to a local institution in need.  Please contact us at naepadmin@naepnet.org.&nbsp

Also, programs like the Society of Nurses, Scientists, Innovators, Entrepreneurs, and Leaders’ (SONSIEL) SHARE program can help you connect to affected area hospitals.  For more information, go to SONSIEL.org/coronavirus.
