Volunteer for the NENA/APCO Minimum Training Standards for TTY Working Group

NENA seeks volunteers for the NENA/APCO Minimum Training Standards for TTY/TDD Joint Working Group to support final revisions and to shepherd the draft of NENA/APCO Minimum Training and Operational Standards for TTY/TDD Communications in Public Safety Answering Points through the document approval process. The deliverable is intended to be an ANSI-approved standard.
A variety of expertise is sought from the public safety and 9-1-1 industries as well as those with experience in TTY/TDD training and services. Specifically, the working group seeks to add members in the "General Interest" and "Producer" interest categories as defined in Section 3 Document Development Process of the NENA Development Operational Procedures, NENA-ADM-001.6-2025.
Meetings are held the 2nd Tuesday and the 4th Wednesday of each month.
