Each year, the First Responders Children’s Foundation (FRCF) recognizes the most altruistic acts of bravery and service in the United States with a prestigious celebration in Times Square, New York City. The FRCF is currently seeking nominations of 9-1-1 professionals who have gone above and beyond in their role—someone who would proudly represent 9-1-1 and the broader first responder community on a national stage.

The 2025 event takes place on October 28th, featuring FRCF's "Roll Call of Heroes," that includes leaders of first responder agencies, government officials, a ceremonial color guard, and proclamations from each state showcasing the commitment that leaders across the nation are making to honor first responders.

If selected as the honoree, the individual will:

  • Be recognized during FRCF's Roll Call of Heroes ceremony in Times Square;
  • Be invited to a private NYPD-sponsored tour of New York Harbor, the 9/11 Memorial, and One World Trade Center, followed by a casual and celebratory evening social gathering including dinner with other honorees and local first responders; and
  • Have all travel, accommodations, and event expenses covered by the Foundation.

Click here to submit your nomination by Friday, August 1.
