Nick LaMontia Appointed to NENA’s Board of Directors

NENA: The 9-1-1 Association’s Board of Directors has appointed Nick LaMontia, ENP, GIS Manager for Kerr Emergency 9-1-1 Network, as the association’s Southeastern Region Director. He assumes the position from Cassie Lowery, ENP, following her election as NENA’s Second Vice President, and will serve the remainder of the current term through June 2026.
LaMontia brings nearly three decades of experience in public safety and emergency communications to the NENA board, including roles as a dispatcher, CTO, terminal agency coordinator, training consultant, and GIS manager. He currently oversees the GIS and addressing operations in Kerr County, Texas.
A longtime leader in the 9-1-1 community, LaMontia has served on the NENA Institute Board since 2018, including two terms as President. He has also contributed to several NENA working groups, spoken at numerous state and national conferences, and developed training curricula on topics ranging from GIS to mentoring to future technologies.
