FCC Announces Hurricane Season Resiliency Roundtable

The Federal Communications Commission will host a Hurricane Season Resiliency Roundtable, led by its Public Safety and Homeland Security Bureau. As we head into hurricane season, the roundtable provides a timely venue to promote resiliency and recovery efforts. The roundtable will focus on collaboration between communications service providers, electric utilities, and emergency management officials. Panelists will share best practices related to preparedness and response; highlight the importance of collaboration between these critical sectors; and apply lessons learned to identify practical next steps.
