NENA Seeks Vendor Participants for Upcoming NG9-1-1 Testing Event

NENA's NG9-1-1 Implementation Coordination Event (ICE) series is a long-running program and has been held since 2009. An event "by the vendors, for the vendors," NENA sponsors the event to bring together NG91-1 product and service vendors in an open, supportive, collaborative environment. At ICE, vendors build interoperability test cases and test their products (production or prototype) against each other's products using test case document(s) based on existing and evolving standards.

ICE 13 testing scenarios will be focused on CLDXF Conveyance, PCA Certificate Management, NG-PSAP Calls with Callback, Conferencing Capabilities, CAD-to-CAD EIDO and DTLS with SRTP/SRTCP.

This year, ICE events will include the following:

  • Virtual Mid-Year Event – June 9 - 13, 2025
  • Validation Testing – September 22 - 26, 2025
  • ICE 13 Event – October 20 - 24, 2025

All vendors are welcome! An ICE 13 Planning Committee has been formed, and vendors such as NG9-1-1 equipment systems and services, logging, and CAD are encouraged to join.
