The NENA Non-Conventional Means of Communicating With E9-1-1 Working Group (WG) is tasked with the development of a standard to support non-conventional calls to the legacy 9-1-1 PSAP. As part of its efforts, the WG is seeking subject matter experts (SME) to assist with content development regarding the limitations of the legacy environment to include, but not limited to, NG9-1-1 network to legacy PSAP interfaces and OSP and 9-1-1 System Service Provider network interfaces.

In addition, the WG is also seeking User and General Interest participants to support the Interest Category balance of the WG roster. A User participant is one who utilizes 9-1-1 related products or services. A General Interest participant is an interested party who does not fit in the User or Producer category, such as a consultant or a government representative.
