Print this Article | Send to Colleague

On April 21, 2022, the Federal Communications Commission’s Public Safety and Homeland Security Bureau (PSHSB) issued a Public Notice seeking to partner with alert originators to conduct localized, end-to-end Wireless Emergency Alerts (WEA) performance tests in the third quarter of 2022. The Public Notice provides additional details about the test and the criteria PSHSB will use in selecting testing partners.

The deadline for authorized WEA alert originators to express interest in partnering with PSHSB on these tests is May 22, 2022.  Parties may express their interest by submitting a filing in the Commission’s Electronic Comment Filing System and specifying "22-160" as the docket number for the proceeding.
