The Winter Social – where giant adventures greeted us at Little Canada! An amazing venue celebrating all things Canada. It’s a unique journey of discovery through the sights and sounds of our great country in miniature scale.

Currently Little Canada features Little Niagara, Little Toronto, Little Golden Horseshow, Little Ottawa, and Petit Quebec. Future destinations will include Little North, Little East Coast, Little Prairies, Little Rockies, Little West Coast and Petit Montreal.

The Winter Social this year gathered 160 industry colleagues together once again. Attendees were amazed at the miniature displays in such detail with moving trains and horse-drawn carriages. More displays will be open in the late spring showing other parts of Canada and another trip will be in the books to see what’s new in 2023.

The evening consisted of a walk through the displays, passed hors d’oeuvres, a champagne toast sponsored by Destination Toronto, a drink ticket sponsored by Tremblant Resort Association along with our great event sponsor, Quebec City Business Destination.

So far, 200,000 hours of work has been put into building Little Canada. Tens of Thousands of Little Canadians currently live in Little Canada, and one of them can be you! Over 10,000 trees cover the landscape of Little Canada so far. There are approximately 300 autonomous cars zipping around Little Canada. Little Toronto’s CN Tower is 14.5 ft tall.

The Winter Social was a change from the past Holiday Socials, going to a more casual reception style event that was very popular and a lot of fun. In fact, it was so much fun, it was difficult to get people to leave when our time was up.

As part of the event, the chapter held a virtual silent auction and a raffle with three prizes – three different wine baskets donated by the MPI Toronto Chapter Board. Many thanks to our auction donors for their support:
