AGM and Volunteer Recognition, September 26

MPI AGM and Volunteer Recognition was held on Thursday, Sept. 26 at the Courtyard by Marriott Toronto Mississauga West. At the Annual General Meeting, we recognized our volunteers and longtime members, besides reviewing the financial statement and other items on the agenda. A big congratulations to all award winners! 

You might be aware of the MPI Toronto Ambassador program that has been around for almost three years. We connected with a new member who signed up to be partnered with an ambassador: Caeleigh Harding, corporate tourism coordinator with the Corporation of the City of Brantford. Here is what she has to say about her ambassador buddy experience:

"As a new member of MPI, I utilized the MPI Ambassador program when attending the AGM and Volunteer Recognition event. I definitely think the Ambassador program is something valuable and appreciated by new members. Those who are considering joining MPI should be aware of how welcomed and integrated they will be when attending MPI events. My ambassador was unable to attend at the last minute; however, Vincent Murphy from BizBash made sure I was well taken care of and introduced me to other members.
