Meet the Speaker: Julee Stand, MDA, RD, CDCES, CSOWM, CLE: Wellness Matters, Too

Julee is an Onsite Evernorth Registered Dietitian located at the Disneyland Resort. She supports employees, Cast Members, and family members in their journey to improve their health through healthy eating and physical activity. Julee encourages people to be realistic with their goals and to take small steps, so they are achievable, which in turn, empowers people to continue to make small changes in their diet and lifestyle. While weight reduction may be the initial goal, people find they sleep better and have improved energy levels by choosing healthier foods. From her experiences in weight management, Julee became a Certified Specialist in Obesity and Weight Management.

Additionally, Julee recently earned her Master’s in Dietetic Administration through Utah State University. She is also a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist as well as a Certified Lactation Educator. Preventing the progression of Diabetes and educating people on pre-diabetes is a passion. Julee started her career in community nutrition as a Public Health Supervisor working with the WIC program. Her experience as an Outpatient Dietitian strengthened her clinical skills, working with many patients with a variety of chronic and acute health conditions, focusing on Medical Nutrition Therapy.

Julee received her Bachelor of Science degree from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo with a major in Nutritional Science. She completed her dietetic internship through Utah State University.

In her free time, Julee enjoys spending time with family and friends. She is an advocate for self-care and making one’s physical and mental well-being a priority.
