MPIGNY 30/30
Message from Our President
I want to thank everyone who came out to the Mardi Gras networking at the Hard Rock Times Square. The networking team, led by Laura Mulholland, coupled with the Hard Rock, did an outstanding job. Kudos and a sincere heartfelt thank you to all. See you on March 11 for our next After Six Mix! – Carvie Gillikin, President MPI Greater New York.

The Past 30...

The MPIGNY Mardi Gras mixer was one of the best networking events we've experienced lately. Great connections were made and everyone had a blast doing it! Hard Rock Café went over the top on the décor and Louisiana-inspired menu and drinks. Live Nation’s sponsored Creole-style band helped get everyone in the Mardi Gras spirit. Laissez les bons temps rouler!

Scott Wayne presented an interactive and energetic presentation on negotiations at Civic Hall on February 4. He gave us great insight and tips on how to present yourself and your team to clients or vendors in contracting the deal you want. He provided the group ways to set the stage and frame a situation for a desired result. To read more about this interesting topic, Scott's book "Cartography of Negotiation" came out on February 19. You may reach him on Twitter @scottxwayne. To learn more about this brand new tech venue in NYC, visit civichall.org. A big thank you to our Education Series sponsor, Caesars Entertainment.
