On a blustery and rainy Saturday, May 14, 2022, nine members of the MPIGNY community participated in the Cycle for Survival, raising money for Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. It was the first time in two years the race was held in it's original format and the first time ever outside. Fortunately a tent shielded riders from the elements, but the rain did not dampen the spirits of the many participants gathered on the plaza at Hudson Yards. The mood was joyful and celebratory, and at times emotional, as we heard from several survivors and families about MSK's cutting edge treatments that are saving lives and giving cancer patients a fighting chance to beat this disease.

Thanks to the generous support of our friends and colleagues like you, the MPI Greater New York team exceeded our fundraising goal of $5,000, raising over $6,500 in the fight against rare cancers! We are grateful to everyone who donated, and we are humbled by your generosity and support of Team MPIGNY's efforts.

Congratulations and thank you to Marisa Wilkes, CMP, Director of CSR for leading our team to exceed our goal.
