RECAP: THURSDAY, April 20: Volunteer Opportunity at Hamilton-Madison House

On April 20, a small but mighty group—Devin Fassberg, Mike Veny, Jacqueline Seltzer, and Laura Mulholland—joined other community volunteers at the Hamilton Madison House in the Two Bridges/Chinatown area of the Lower East Side. The group delivered meals and pantry bags of kitchen staples to seniors in the Alfred E. Smith Houses. It was a humbling and rewarding project. The gratitude of the recipients was evident by their smiles when receiving the bags. It was a beautiful day to get out of the office for a few hours to give back via service. This volunteer activity takes place every other Wednesday, and we are planning on volunteering as a group again soon; but if you’d like to get involved in the meantime, more information about the project and organization can be found here:  Hamilton Madison House.
