This year needs to slow down! We are already in March, can you believe?!?!

A session at God’s Love We Deliver kicked off our February events. GLWD is a great way to give back to the community. Look out for our upcoming CSR activities. We would love to have you join us at one or all of them! Our Winter Networking Social "Glamour, Gatherings & Golf" at the Martinique New York was well attended. Attendees enjoyed an evening of networking whilst taking in all that the team at the Martinique had to offer.

You should have received the MPI Global Membership and Chapter Satisfaction Survey by now. Please do take the time to complete the Survey. The results gathered help not only MPI Global deliver better membership benefits, but they also assist our Chapter in giving you, our members a better experience. The survey is open until March 14th and once you have responded you will be entered into a raffle for a chance to win a $100 Amazon Gift Card.

Would you like to give back to the Hospitality Industry? We need YOU, our members, to jump in and assist our Chapter where you can. How can you help? What are your interests or skills? It doesn’t need to take a large amount of your time, it can be as little or as much as you would like to dedicate. We will work with you and your schedule. Please reach out to me or any of our Board Members if you would like to get more involved with the Chapter. Or simply complete the "Find Your Fit" survey if you are interested in volunteering. We would love to have you!

March is a busy month for the Chapter. We kick things off with our virtual Annual Chapter Update tomorrow, March 2nd, from 12-1pm. Please join us to learn more about the Chapter and our vision for the future. This is also an opportunity to meet our Chapter’s leaders. Registration is open.

The following week we have another great opportunity to participate with our CSR team by volunteering with Publicolor on March 11th. Space is limited so please contact Marisa our Director of CSR to register: marisawilkes922@gmail.com.

Finally, we are partnering with 10 other Membership Organizations for a GMID event at @Ease 1345 on March 30th. This is an event you will not want to miss, so please register to join us.

Do you love being at the front line of communication? We are currently seeking candidates to be our Director of Communications for the upcoming board term of July 2023 – June 2025. 
 
The Director of Communications is responsible for the Chapter’s communication to members including publication of The Buzz newsletter, managing our Chapter’s website, promotion of member events and strategizing with the Vice President of Marketing & Communications and Director of Marketing on how best to communicate with our members.

Such an amazing event last week at the historic Martinique New York, recently part of the Curio Collection by Hilton! Attendees were treated to both the rich history of this 125 year old landmark hotel and the exciting new features of its recent renovation. From the collection of historical artifacts dating back to its original opening and the inception of the PGA Tour within its walls, to its freshly renovated event spaces and upcoming gastronomic offerings, it was a buffet for the senses. Guests experienced the culinary genius of chef Franklin Becker (of Catch and Little Beet fame) while taking in the soulful sounds of the extremely talented jazz duo Acute Inflections. A special thank you to the Martinique New York for a truly memorable evening and to photography partner SimonProPhoto for capturing it all on film. It was a fantastic night all around. Make sure to keep an eye out for the new Press Club Grill, opening soon!
