The government of Canada announced that its 2018 budget will include a new Apprenticeship Incentive Grant for Women (AIG-W) that will supply $3,000 cash funding per year ($6,000 maximum) to all women entering, progressing or completing training in Red Seal trades.

Applications are now being accepted for the 2019 ENERGY STAR Canada Awards. The award recognizes those companies that have "demonstrated excellence" in promoting energy-efficient products.
