For the first time since 2019, members of MCA Canada and the Canadian Institute of Plumbing and Heating gathered in Ottawa to meet with Members of Parliament and key policymakers to discuss the mechanical contracting sector, and the critical role the industry will play in the transition to net zero building.

A key topic was the importance of promoting and supporting the skilled trades, to ensure the industry has the capacity to deliver on public policy objectives related to net zero and retrofits in the built environment.
