Bill S-224, Senator Don Plett's Canada Prompt Payment Act, passed the second reading in the Senate of Canada last night.

Thanks to a new partnership between MSCC and BOMA Canada, building owners and managers across the country are being encouraged to choose MSCC-certified contractors to service, repair and retrofit their buildings. If your company hasn't already earned its certification, act now—or risk losing out on lucrative business opportunities.

The table shows 20 of the largest upcoming private and government office building construction projects in Canada. They are all in the planning stage and are mainly new projects, but may also involve additions and/or alterations.

"We see great potential for the Canada Infrastructure Bank to help support green infrastructure such as intertie and commercial scale renewable energy projects," said a government spokesperson.
