MCA Hamilton to host the 4th Canadian Mechanical Student Chapter Summit

Print this Article | Send to Colleague

The program for this year’s Student Chapter Summit looks into the future of the construction industry, its technological advancements and career options, and gives students a chance to work together in a mini competition. Topping off the conference will be visits to the UA Technical Trades Academy and Aecon Industrial’s prefabrication shop. Attendees will also have the opportunity to participate in demonstrations covering different joining methods used in the piping trades.

The two days will not be all work, though! There will be plenty of networking opportunities for students and contractors.

Important industry events such as this could not take place without the generous support of our sponsors: MCA Ontario, Canada, MCA Hamilton, MCA Toronto, MCA Kitchener-Waterloo, Victaulic, Aecon, and the Joint Apprenticeship Training Committee (UA Local 67).

If you would like to get involved in starting a student chapter in your area, please contact Tania Johnston at MCA Canada for further information.
