Reliance Worldwide Canada Inc.
To our valued members,

On behalf of MCA Canada, I am pleased to provide a brief update on MCA Canada for February 2022. As many of you may have seen, we have a number of exciting virtual events, as well as in-person events taking place in the coming months. As we continue to see a transition to more in-person meetings and events, MCA Canada is looking forward to reconnecting with our members from coast to coast.

On the advocacy front, there are several ongoing issues being faced by the mechanical contracting sector in Canada, and we are proud to represent your interests at the federal level. Supply chain, skills shortages and the finalization of federal prompt payment legislation all remain critical files for us at this time.

As we look ahead to the remainder of the year, we have several events and initiatives coming up, as well as the return of our Annual National Conference, being held in Halifax this coming September. Stay tuned for updates on that event, as well as registration details.

As always, if there are any questions or comments on this bulletin, or on any other topics and issues of interest, please do not hesitate to reach out to our office.

Sincerely,

Tania Johnston

After a two-year hiatus, the MCAC Annual National Conference starts back up Sept. 28 to Oct. 1, 2022.

For years, Pier 21 in Halifax, N.S., brought people together from all over the world as an entry point to Canada. In September 2022, this iconic Canadian landmark will once again serve as a welcoming point as MCA Canada prepares to hold its first Annual National Conference since Nashville in 2019.

Conference registration is expected to open on April 1, 2022, and will be available at  https://conference.mcac.ca.

Each year March 11 is marked by celebrations, competitions, seminars, and activities all around the world.  People from within and outside the plumbing fraternity come together to learn, share knowledge, build connections and find opportunities to collaborate to improve the quality of, and access to, fresh water and safe sanitation.
