WSSRA Executive Director Hired

The West Suburban Special Recreation Board of Directors announced the hiring of Marianne Birko, Oak Park resident, to be executive director of the agency. Ms. Birko comes to the position with 28 years of work history as the superintendent of WSSRA. The position begins immediately. She replaces Sandra Gbur, who left WSSRA in June.
