Woman unjustly fired over drinking: ruling - Kevin Rollason, Winnipeg Free Press

The Manitoba Human Rights Commission has made a landmark decision in the recent case of a Flin Flon woman who was released form her position due to a drinking problem. The resulting decision came as a result of the failure of the Northern Regional Health Authority to utilize objective assessments when determining an accommodation plan for an employee with a disability. Read more here
