Two directors of New Mex Canada were sentenced to 25 days in jail as a result of a January 2013 incident that occurred in their warehouse in Brampton, Ontario resulting in the death of an employee. Failing to provide information, instruction and supervision and failure to ensure required safety measures required by law were carried out were among the charges New Mex pleaded guilty to.
