An analysis of emotional intelligence profiles in TalentSmart's database revealed that emotional intelligence scores climb with titles from the bottom of the corporate ladder upward toward middle management. Middle managers stand out with the highest emotional intelligence, but this is where the trend reverses. For titles of director and above, scores quickly descend, with CEOs having the lowest EQ of all employees. Read more here
