Join GSAE's Membership Work Group on August 18 to begin planning our fall membership campaign. We'll provide updates from the spring campaign and Supplier Challenge as well as dive more deeply into our prospective member list.

The GSAE Nominating Committee is soliciting names of members interested in serving on the GSAE Board of Directors. Five seats for individual association member directors and one seat for a corporate supplier director will be available for two-year terms, beginning January 1, 2017. The ASAE Annual Meeting & Exposition attracts thousands of association executives and hundreds of exhibitors each year, and it’s the flagship education and exposition for associations and nonprofit organizations in the United States. After a wildly successful hosting experience in 2013, Atlanta has been named host city for August 6-9, 2022 at the Georgia World Congress Center. GSAE is excited and will look forward to providing another cadre of great volunteers.

ASAE Foundation is accepting applications for its Innovation Grants Program (IGP) through September 30. IGP provides monetary awards to support innovation exploration and development in the association community. There will be up to four grants awarded in three categories: travel, exploration and hybrid (a combination of travel and exploration). Grant recipients will receive awards up to $10,000.

Earlier this year The Power of A unveiled a revamped, more mobile-responsive website, ThePowerOfA.org. The website is designed to educate policymakers and the public about the role associations play in creating a stronger America and world. In order to tell the story better visually and to provide more in-depth resource, The Power of A updated the website in several ways, among them: the Resource Center boasts the latest industry issue updates, our Inroads newsletter, a calendar of events and details on American Associations Day (March 15-16, 2017).

This ICF and HRCI accredited manager-as-coach training program is used by organizations worldwide to implement or improve workplace coaching.
