On December 7, Nova Scotia Premier Stephen McNeil announced significant measures that will make it easier to do business, reach new markets and increase choices for residents and businesses of the province.

The CPA offices, including the Propane Training Institute, will be closed from December 24, 2018 to January 2, 2019 inclusively. 

The CPA is pleased to announce that the 200-11: Auto-Propane Conversion and Inspection course is now recognized by the province of Prince Edward Island. 

Effective December 31, 2018, new editions of standards CSA B339, CSA B340, CSA B341 and CSA B342 will be in force. Notwithstanding, members may begin transitioning to these new standards at any time before this date.

The CPA holds a number of Equivalency Certificates on behalf of its members and are available on the CPA website. The terms and conditions of each Equivalency Certificate must be adhered to at all times.
