The CPA is pleased to welcome the title sponsors for its 2022 Leadership Summit being held on May 17-19 in Banff: MaXfield and Pro-Par, two well-known Canadian brands of TerraVest Industries, a diversified industrial manufacturing company established on both sides of the Canada-U.S. border.

For Mitch DeBelser, president of the compressed gas division at TerraVest Industries, sponsoring the 2022 Leadership Summit was a natural fit: “This is our customer base, and we want to do what we can to support the industry, like our customers supported us all these years.”

TerraVest Industries manufactures and provides steel products for niche markets such as propane, anhydrous ammonia, natural gas liquids and other compressed gases. Products include TC-331 transport trailers, bobtails, domestic tanks and large storage vessels.

Many of TerraVest’s brands – like MaXfield and Pro-Par – have been in existence for over 50 years and have earned a solid reputation. “We manufacture basically everything needed to store, transport and dispense compressed gas. For us, 9 out of 10 times, it’s propane,” explains DeBelser.

TerraVest’s U.S subsidiaries include Fischer Tanks, a manufacturer and refurbisher of domestic tanks, Signature Truck Systems, one of the USA’s largest manufacturers of propane bobtails, crane and cylinder trucks, and Countryside Tank, a leader in MC-331 transport trailers.

A vision

MaXfield and Pro-Par are key players in TerraVest’s compressed gas division, supporting the company’s efforts to provide the propane industry “one source, many solutions”. The two companies are also in alignment with TerraVest’s sustainability goals.

“We feel, obviously, that propane plays a role in that sustainability because it’s cleaner than other fuels,” says DeBelser, who is proud of the work the company has accomplished with its new liquified natural gas equipment and renewable natural gas division. He also keeps the door open to answer customers’ needs with Canadian manufactured equipment for emerging energy sources like renewable propane.

DeBelser adds that MaXfield and Pro-Par are always looking to adapt to prolong their equipment life cycle and ensure that the environment is protected in the process.

The CPA thanks MaXfield and Pro-Par for their commitment!
