The CPA Awards have returned for 2022! After a pause due to the pandemic, the CPA will once again honour exceptional individuals and companies for their commitment and dedication to the ongoing success of the propane industry. 

These biennial awards are presented at the signature CPA Gala Dinner during the Leadership Summit in 2022 – to be held in Banff, AB on May 17-19 – an anticipated event for members and business leaders in the propane industry. 

The Awards

Individuals or companies can self-nominate or be nominated by others for the following categories: 

  • The Lifetime Industry Achievement Award recognizes an individual who has made significant or consistent outstanding contributions to the advancement of the Canadian propane industry. This individual is known to possess integrity, honesty and the respect of his or her peers.
  • The Health & Safety Award is given to companies or individuals in the propane industry who demonstrate a successfully implemented new program or an improvement in an existing program to promote, support and enhance a healthy and safe workplace environment.
  • The Innovation Award supports exceptional work executed outside of the CPA membership that contributes to the advancement of the propane industry. Nominees may be in the industry, academia, municipal, provincial or federal governments, or non-profit organizations.
  • The PTI Trainer Award encourages Propane Training Institute trainers who are the best in their class and achieve excellence in the classroom. These individuals contribute to the promotion and understanding of the propane industry through training. 

Nomination documents must be received by the CPA no later than March 7, 2022.
