Food Shippers of America announces a change in their membership dues structure effective July 1, 2020.

Membership in the Food Shippers of America trade association is limited to individuals engaged in the business of shipping or receiving food and related productions in the Food and Beverage industry where an individual is someone who conducts business on behalf of a company who has, or maintains, physical ownership of these products within the supply chain.

Premier Trailer Leasing, a leading national trailer leasing and rental company, today announced it will partner with its long-time supplier, Thermo King, to help combat hunger during the COVID-19 pandemic. Premier will provide free rental of up to 40 Thermo King refrigerated trailers to Feeding America. These 53-foot trailers have a 40,000-pound perishable food capacity, allowing this partnership to help secure, store and distribute more than 6 million* meals this summer. 

*According to the USDA, 1.2 lbs. is equivalent to one meal.
