2021 Annual Conference Update

Food Shippers of America has always strived to deliver an extraordinary learning and networking experience at each of our annual conference events. We were hoping for the same at our 66th Annual Conference in Palm Desert scheduled for February 28 through March 2, 2021. 

Due to the uncertainty of the coronavirus situation, and in consideration of the health and wellbeing of all conference attendees, we have made the decision to cancel the 2021 event. We spent many hours evaluating alternatives including postponing the conference to a later date, conducting a virtual event, finding other potential locations as well as a combination of these options. Unfortunately, venue availability and timing made postponing the event not practical, and we felt a virtual event would not offer the robust networking opportunity we all look forward to at the annual conference. We are certainly disappointed as we had an exciting agenda prepared and will miss not being able to spend time together learning, connecting and doing business.  

If you already registered for the 2021 conference, your conference and hotel registration has been canceled and a full refund issued to the credit card originally used for payment. You should have received an email receipt confirming the refund and hotel cancellation. The JW Marriott has agreed to honor the conference rate if you would still like to visit Palm Desert during the originally scheduled conference timeframe. Please call them to rebook your reservation if you would like to take advantage of this offer.

If your company agreed to be a sponsor for the 2021 event, you will receive a refund for all paid sponsorship fees. If you would like to rollover your sponsorship to the 2022 conference, please contact Eric Missil at accountant@foodshippersofamerica.org.

The 2022 Food Shippers of America Annual Conference will take place February 20 – 22, 2022 in Orlando, Florida, at the JW Marriott Grande Lakes Resort. More information on the 2022 event will be released this coming Spring.
