FAA recently completed research on average compensation and benefits for multifamily professionals across Florida and within each of its 10 local affiliate regions. 

A cap on tax assessment increases for certain properties — including apartment communities — is scheduled to expire unless voters pass Amendment 2 on the ballot in November. The Florida Apartment Association supports Amendment 2, which would make permanent a 10 percent cap on increasing the taxable value of non-homestead properties. The Florida Apartment Association is seeking educational session proposals for the 2019 FAA Annual Conference & Trade Show. FAA wants to provide its members with educational and innovative speaker sessions that will actively engage and inform members.
