FAA recently completed research on average compensation and benefits for multifamily professionals across Florida and within each of its 10 local affiliate regions. 

A cap on tax assessment increases for certain properties — including apartment communities — is scheduled to expire unless voters pass Amendment 2 on the ballot in November. The Florida Apartment Association supports Amendment 2, which would make permanent a 10 percent cap on increasing the taxable value of non-homestead properties. The Florida Apartment Association is seeking educational session proposals for the 2019 FAA Annual Conference & Trade Show. FAA wants to provide its members with educational and innovative speaker sessions that will actively engage and inform members. Speakers and sessions should stimulate discussions and address topics that directly impact members and all aspects of the multifamily industry.
