What's New in the FAA
Chris Heeter, wilderness guide and dogsled musher, will be the closing speaker for the FAA 2016 Annual Conference & Trade Show. Heeter, founder of The Wild Institute, teaches audience members how to bring the "Wild" to work. Alex Sheen, founder of "because I said I would," will be the opening keynote speaker.
 
Florida's 2016 legislative session has come to a close as both chambers declared sine die on March 11, and FAA can claim several legislative victories this year.
 
Management members of the Florida Apartment Association are eligible for a discounted registration fee of $625 to the 2016 NAA Education Conference & Exposition in San Francisco.

Michael Strahan, Super Bowl champion and popular TV host, will be the opening keynote speaker at the 2016 NAA Education Conference & Exposition in San Francisco in June. Chip and Joanna Gaines, the rising stars of HGTV’s hit show Fixer Upper, will be closing keynote speakers.
 
Now is the time for NAA affiliates and supplier partners to start planning to "Celebrate Home. Combine an education session, a property tour with media or an editorial board with a luncheon, dinner or a happy hour celebration."
 
This month 718 individuals attended the 2016 Capitol Conference and 558 of those participated in Lobby Day. This is an 11.5 percent and 40 percent increase from 2015, respectively! Even more, these figures do not include individuals who did not come to Washington, D.C. but are conducting meetings at home.
