In celebration of Women’s History Month, I’d like to recognise all the smart women who are leading our industry in all sectors and at all levels of experience, especially our EIC volunteer leaders working on various committees and governance including our EIC Board and Council members and Strategic Partners. As we fully appreciated over the past few years and as our discussions around workforce deepened, we recognised both the resilience and the vulnerability of so many of our peers and how we must provide support and allyship across the industry’s workforce.

I want to also recognise those flourishing and doing great work running small businesses, consulting, creating opportunities for themselves to follow their dreams, values and passion – all while fulfilling a critical role in our industry particularly now when we are all thinking differently about how we build our teams and leverage talent to accomplish our goals.

Making that leap takes a ton of courage, vision and resilience. The opportunity to offer leadership does not correlate necessarily with experience or tenure. It also takes passion, conviction, and generosity.

Pandit Dasa spent 15 years living as a monk in New York City. Now he shares the “why” of deciding to live as a monk and the “why” of leaving the monastery, with a goal of creating a more mindful workplace culture. By appreciating and celebrating the success and contributions of co-workers, we build a culture that fosters trust, enhances teamwork and greatly impacts individual performance.

In this keynote, Pandit will share practical tools and takeaways to create a mindful future of work, encourage and support mental, emotional and physical well-being in the workplace, increase retention and engagement, and create a culture of appreciation and mindful communication.

As a result of the pandemic lockdown, most of us transitioned quickly to delivering digital (virtual/hybrid) events rather than having no events at all. Results were mixed, some very positive, with the amplified reach to larger audiences and the rich data that digital solutions provided. A negative was the inability to engage with audiences in an in-person environment.

As the world opened up again, the assumption was that we would all return to face-to-face meetings and digital events would be used minimally; however, that is not the case.

Watch the replay of this webinar moderated by Betsy Bondurant, CMM, CTE, President, Bondurant Consulting, to understand how geopolitical and economic situations are causing the continued use of digital events; examine the benefits of improved accessibility, diversity and sustainability related to digital events; and discover how a purpose-built event portfolio can deliver in-person, virtual and hybrid events will be the long-term future of successful events.
