Across the country, some state mandates have shut down all nonessential business and request that employees work remotely wherever possible, and shelter-in-place orders have kept people from leaving their homes aside from vital errands.
At the same time, even in some of the cities and states with the most stringent shutdowns, construction continues.
President Trump on Tuesday encouraged Congress to pass a $2 trillion infrastructure bill as the next piece of legislation to boost the economy amid the coronavirus pandemic. Democrats have suggested an infrastructure bill could include updates to public drinking water systems and hospital capacity, as well as upgrades to rural broadband in light of increased teleworking and online schooling during the pandemic.
While the world was fixated on the coronavirus, the US Census Bureau released its latest county-by-county population estimates. And their findings make one thing abundantly clear: Texas is going to become the most important political state over the next decade.

Here's why: Growth in Texas is absolutely off the charts. Of the 10 counties with the largest population growth in the country between 2010 and 2019, six of them are in Texas.

All safety training classes - including Safety First, Medic First Aid/CPR/AED, and OSHA 30 Hour - have been cancelled through Friday, April 10, and are tentatively scheduled to resume Monday, April 13.

Due to the current limitations on social gatherings, the 2020 ASA | TEXO Foundation Bass Tournament has been rescheduled to Sept. 25-26 and will still be at Lake Fork Marina, as originally planned. 
The TEXO Golf Tournament, originally scheduled for May 11, will also be rescheduled, and we will announce the new date as soon as it has been finalized.
