Competition details will be available at the party and online following the party. Any team comprised of at least one member of an architecture firm and one member of a contractor firm are welcome to participate. Teams may include members of firms that support the AEC community. Team registration opens at 6 p.m. on June 13 and closes 6 p.m. on July 12.
  
Join the ASA Texas Network, representatives from the OSHA Fort Worth area office, and members of the ASA safety committee for a free safety training and discussion on Tuesday, June 18 from 9-10:30 a.m., at the University of Texas-Arlington’s Division for Enterprise Development Center.
 
Attendees will learn and discuss temporary worker safety, best practices and other local temporary labor-based issues as part of ASA's commitment to providing pertinent information, guidance and access to resources that help protect the health and safety of workers.

This is an instructor-led course that teaches students critical skills needed to respond to and manage an emergency until emergency medical services arrives. Skills covered in this course include first aid for sudden illnesses, injuries and protection from blood-borne pathogens; choking relief and sudden cardiac arrest for adults. This course is for anyone with limited or no medical training who needs a course completion card in CPR and AED use to meet job, regulatory, or other requirements.
  
Unit 5 Topic: Lean Supply Chain and Assembly. This is a full-day course that introduces the lean strategies and tools used to deliver materials, equipment and prefabricated assemblies to the jobsite in a manner that facilitates flow. The Lean course challenges class participants to map the supply chain - looking to minimize waste and maximize value - in a collaborative fashion with all project team members, including suppliers and vendors.
  
Stormwater training to include such topics as Regulatory Inspections, Structural Controls, Non-structural Controls, SWPPP training, Stormwater Inspections, and Superintendent training.
