Canadian Centre for Cyber Security (CCCS) – Briefings

Print this Article | Send to Colleague

The Canadian Center for Cyber Security (CCCS) was established to work with CI Sectors across the country to provide continuous cyber security advice, guidance and services to improve cyber resilience.

As part of its mandate, the CCCS hosts Cyber Threat Briefs on a bi-weekly basis from 11:30 a.m.-12:15 p.m. EST or from 1:00-1:45 p.m. EST. CWWA’s Security & Emergency Management Committee is represented regularly on these calls by several of its committee members. If you are interested in attending the bi-weekly briefs, we encourage you to contact CCCs through their Municipalities Partnerships Team at municipalities-par-municipalites@cyber.gc.ca.

Please select which works best for your schedule — the sessions will be identical in what is presented. The briefs are held primarily in English, but you are encouraged to ask questions in the official language of your choice. The target audience for these community calls are IT security professionals.

As always, a reminder that CCCS encourages you to report any cyber incidents directly to the Cyber Centre via the self-reporting webpage

CCCS is happy to remind that all their services and products are unbiased as a federal organization and completely free of charge.
