CTA in Action: Government Affairs Update
CTA was recently notified by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) that the AG Cargo Securement final rule would be published on Monday, April 15.
It has been a truly collaborative effort for the past 11 years by the CTA, ATA’s Agricultural and Food Transporters Conference (AFTC), other Agricultural stakeholders, the California Highway Patrol (CHP), and the FMCSA to get a workable AG securement rule passed.

CTA Highlights
The Southern Allied Golf Tournament was held on Monday, April 8th at Aliso Viejo Country Club. We were treated to beautiful weather and great golf course conditions for the day and the employees of the club took extra care in making sure we all had a good time. I would like to thank all Allied Members and CTA Staff for their contributions including financial sponsorships, donation of raffle prizes and all volunteers.
