CARB Releases 15-day Amendments on PSIP/HDVIP Rulemaking

Print this Article | Send to Colleague

CARB released its proposed 15-day changes to their PSIP/HDVIP rulemaking which includes some requested changes to requirements for opacity tests for trucks which are offered for sale or lease among other changes which are mostly technical in nature. However, the 15-day changes make no modifications to the 2023 reporting requirements which CTA and other industry groups continue to oppose. We will continue to advocate to ensure fleets are not subjected to duplicative requirements as CARB considers adoption of a new smog-check like program for trucks.
