Kern Unit Annual Sporting Clays Shoot: Come out and enjoy a fun filled day participating in the Sporting Clays Shoot. Proceeds will benefit disabled and disadvantaged children, disabled veterans throughout Kern County. This event is being held at Kern County Gun Club in Bakersfield, CA. on Friday October 13th. Last year this event raised over $40,000 for Abused and At-Risk Children in Southern California, and we are looking forward to another successful year. The planning has begun and this event is for everyone to attend, scene motorcycle/ car/ truck "Poker Run",delicious BBQ lunch, fun activities for kids and families to enjoy all day and some amazing silent auction and raffle items as well. Thank you to all our sponsors and participants who helped make last year such a success and looking forward to working with everyone for this year’s event.
